Puppetry
Beyond the Bark has been making and puppeteering with Rod, Shadow and Marrionette puppets since 2007. We create work for both Adults and Children. Headed up by artistic director Emma Fisher-Owen, who has a PhD in Puppetry and Disability, our primary focus is to create inclusive work that looks at real stories and tells them in fantastic ways. Emma has also been co-creating work for young audiences incorporating both puppetry and animation with Ceol Connected for the past ten years, such as “Tree House” below.
